3 great uses for honey

Honey doesn’t just taste great, it’s also an excellent source of vitamin A (which is great for your eyesight). bees honey

There are a number of other weird and wonderful uses for honey you may not have come across before.

Here are 3 of my favourites:

Treating Burns – Rub honey on a burn to help clean the wound and reduce inflammation. It’s fast acting, acts as a pain reliever and can even help prevent scarring.

Sore Throat – A tea spoon of honey can help soothe a sore throat by reducing inflammation. Combine it with hot water, lemon and ginger for the full blown flu treatment.

Preventing Acne Outbreaks – First clean your face thoroughly. Now cover the affected area with honey using a circular motion. Leave for 15 minutes and then wash off with a warm washcloth.
