Choosing a mobile phone package is hard.

Once you’re locked in with a provider it’s easy to get complacent and stay on the same tariff.

I actually think they make it confusing on purpose so that you don’t question what tariff you’re on.

There are so many different factors to take into account. How many texts do I need… what sort of phone do I want… will I be using it abroad… and what about data usage? WHAT IS DATA USAGE!

(Data usage is how much you can Internet you can use on your phone – checking emails, web surfing, downloading music etc.)

There’s actually a simple and free way to see if you’re on the right mobile phone tariff.

It’s a site called ‘bill monitor‘. They’re regulated by ofcom and all you have to do is fill in a few fields and hit submit. They don’t take any personal details or anything like that.
